Are you the Network Automation Engineer who helps keep air traffic in the Netherlands safe and efficient? At Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL), you will work on mission-critical systems and play a key role in building a future-proof network infrastructure. As we transition from a project-driven to a more product-oriented and governance-based IT organisation, we are looking for a Network Automation Engineer who goes beyond traditional device configuration. You will help us design, build and operate standardised, “as-code” network platforms using modern automation tools. In this role, you combine deep technical expertise in networking with the design and implementation of automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability and scalability.
What will you do? Design, develop and maintain automated network solutions to support mission-critical air traffic control systems Work on standardised network platforms and infrastructure-as-code approaches Collaborate with network engineers, security specialists, and DevOps teams to improve network operations Automate repetitive network configuration and operational tasks Contribute to the development of scalable and secure network architectures Support continuous improvement of network reliability, performance and security Help shape the transition towards a product-oriented network organisation Your team and environment You will work within the Systems & Infrastructure domain, where all operational air traffic control systems and corporate IT are developed and…
