Help Keep Air Traffic Moving Safely At LVNL (Air Traffic Control the Netherlands), our tower systems operate around the clock and play a critical role in the safe and efficient management of air traffic. As a System Engineer within our Tower Systems team, you will work on mission-critical IT platforms that air traffic controllers rely on every day. You will analyse, test and enhance complex technical solutions, contribute to major system releases and migrations, and help ensure the continuous availability of systems that must perform flawlessly 24/7.
The Role As a System Engineer within the Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) Tower Team, you will have a direct impact on operational air traffic control services. Working closely with software suppliers, maintenance teams and air traffic controllers, you will ensure that our tower systems remain secure, reliable and available at all times. Together with a team of experienced engineers, you will be responsible for the technical management of dozens of Linux-based environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux family) that support our tower operations.
