Delft Career Platform, located at Lorentzweg 1, 2628 CJ Delft, the Netherlands, hereafter referred to as “Delft Career Platform”, is the controller of all data gathered through www.delftcareerplatform.nl, hereafter referred to as “the Website”. Delft Career Platform respects your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws.

Delft Career Platform only processes personal information voluntarily submitted to the Website. This information may include your email address, LinkedIn profile link, personal photograph, and field and level of study. Delft Career Platform’s purpose in gathering and transferring such data will be to provide a user with all services of the Website and improve the Website’s functionalities.

Transfer, storage and processing of data

The transfer, storage and processing of data collected by the Website is secured by means of current, usual technical measures. Delft Career Platform will not share your personal data with any third parties, unless there is a legal obligation to do so. Only the management of the Website can access information provided by users.

Provided email addresses are used to provide users with Delft Career Platform’s monthly user mail. The email addresses are exported from the central database and saved on a secondary database temporarily. This secondary database may not exist for any period exceeding one year, after which this database has to be deleted.

In fringe cases, users’ data can be exported to an external datasheet. To manage these external files, a separate file is maintained, containing information on when data was exported, which data was exported, who can access this data and the deadline for deletion of said files. As a failsafe, a Data Protection Officer is appointed within the management of the Website.

Social media 

Delft Career Platform utilizes social media for advertising purposes. To this end, the Website provides updates concerning the platform and possible new opportunities on Facebook and LinkedIn. No personal data is gathered or relayed via these platforms by Delft Career Platform.

Access, correction and removal 

You can request Delft Career Platform to provide access to the personal data it has collected about you at any time. You can also request Delft Career Platform to correct or to delete such personal data. Please send an email to info@delftcareerplatform.nl in case you have any questions concerning your personal data.
